The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has announced that Katara Publishing House will release 30 new titles in October, in preparation for its participation in the 29th edition of the Doha Book Fair to be held on November 29, 2018.

In a statement today, Katara said that the House will issue a series of new and distinguished works for selected Qatari and Arab authors, in order to encourage intellectuals and writers to publish their creative works, adding this Katara initiative aims at supporting writers and authors and enriching knowledge and culture in Qatar and the Arab world.

The number of publications that Katara Publishing House plans to print in November is about 30 titles, in addition to its participation with other works that vary between the documentary books and the literary, scientific and literary works released by the Foundation, as well as the literary works and critic studies that won the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction during its previous sessions.

Launched in April, Katara Publishing House aims to become a driving force behind the publishing industry in Qatar and a connecting link between readers and writers.
