E-registration in the new parallel track of the secondary education will continue until August 14 via the Public Service Portal.

Enrolment will be restricted to Qatari students who had already registered themselves for the 2019/20 academic year and wish to join the new parallel track, the ministry said in a statement on its website yesterday.

After registering online, the eligible students will receive a link to complete the enrolment for grades 10, 11 and 12.

Students will need to attach a recent study report and ID copy to the application, before choosing one of the schools assigned for the parallel track.

Upon completing the registration, students will receive an SMS confirming their ‘temporary’ registration and grades.

During the first week of the academic year, students are required to proceed to their respective schools to submit the necessary documents for the online registration to be approved by the school.

Students who fail to do this will have their online registrations cancelled, the statement notes. Admission requirements, curricula and evaluation, accredited schools for the new parallel track and more can be found here. One can also read the Frequently Asked Questions.
