The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) has published the names of 29 nurseries that have been allowed, so far, to reopen.


Through posts on social media, the ministry informed that it has given its approval to the reopening of these nurseries as they have fulfilled all the relevant conditions and complied with the precautionary and preventive measures.

The MADLSA issued the first list of 19 nurseries a few days ago, followed by the second list of 10 nurseries yesterday. The 29 nurseries are:

Koala Nursery, Montezine Nursery, Encyclopedic Child International Preschool – Ezdan 31, Tiny Town British Nursery, Little Montessori Nursery,

Bambinos Daycare, Dar Al Hanan Nursery, Modern Caring World Nursery, Al Abrar Nursery, Royal Kids Nursery,

Woodberry Nursery, Honeypot Nursery – Aziziya, Muaither Modern Nursery, Little Leaders Nursery – Abu Hamour,

Creative Kids Nursery, Sussex for Early Education, Dreamers Nursery, Grandma Nursery – Al Waab, Pink and Blue Nursery,

Busy Hands Nursery, Babyland Nursery, Baby Star Nursery, Primrose Nursery, PreScholars Nursery,

Smurf Nursery, Al Reem Nursery, Bright Beginnings Nursery, Erin Mills Nursery and Apple Tree Nursery.

The MADLSA has put in place a host of guidelines to ensure the safety of children in nurseries as they reopen following the closure necessitated by the Covid-19 restrictions. The ministry prepared the guidelines for owners and management of nurseries, workers, teachers and parents, children and those accompanying them.
