Pallas Arts, Qatar’s first registered art brokerage, launched with a special gala dinner last week at the Mondrian Hotel, where guests were treated to music composed by Dana Al Fardan. The event was hosted by Qatari comedian Hamad Al-Amari and adorned with flowers provided by Sheikha Nouf Al-Thani. The event showcased art from local artists like Faisal Al Hajri and Yousef Bahzad. The gala dinner was attended by HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim al Thani, a number of Ambassadors to Qatar including those of Spain, Italy, Peru and Argentina. Proceeds from Pallas Arts will go on to fund the Bab’El Institute, a unique project for disadvantaged children which aims to facilitate cultural exchange between east and west.
