The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co, announced the recall of Toyota Fortuner, Innova and Camry, and Lexus LC500/500H and LS500/500H Models of 2017- 2018, due to possible fuel pump malfunction that may cause the vehicles to stop working. The ministry confirmed the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers.

The ministry has said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works. It urges all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquiries and suggestions.
