St Petersburg is the birthplace of a number of legendary Russian groups, from the New Wave Kino to the Bob Dylan-inspired Akvarium, and there are a number of clubs where you can check out the next generation of stars. The city also has a growing number of bars and nightclubs.
Fish Fabrique
The grandfather of St Petersburg’s underground clubs, Fish Fabrique continues to attract the city’s hipsters with its unpretentious mix of cheap drinks and good music.

Griboedov
Dance club in a renovated Soviet-era bunker, gigs in an above-ground café… Griboedov is one of St Petersburg’s oldest and best nightclubs.

Russian Vodka Room No 1
This vodka museum also boasts a Soviet style “rumochnaya” (standing-room-only cafe) with a large selection of the national drink and traditional snacks to help the shots go down better.

Money Honey
One of St Petersburg’s oldest drinking establishments, this centrally-located rock n roll themed bar/club is a great place to sink a few pints of local beers before heading out to a club. Alternatively, you could easily spend the whole night here.
