Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) will complete the rebranding by the end of this year. The company also plans to increase the number of kiosks across Qatar.

“We are rolling out a number of kiosks in partnership with Al Meera which will provide full fledged service to the customers,” Faleh Al Naemi, Chairman and Managing Director, Qatar Post told The Peninsula speaking on the sidelines of reopened its newly rebranded branch in Al Wakra. “We have already re-branded some of Qatar Post branches and the remaining will be re-branded by the end of this year,” he added.

Qatar Post yesterday officially reopened its re-branded branch in Al Wakra, one year after the launch of the new corporate identity in September 2017.

“Our transformation plan involves the rebranding of branches and aims to provide best in class customer services and optimisation of our customers experience in Qatar and globally,” said Al Naemi. “We continue to re-brand and expand our branches by enhancing the individual and corporate services offered in addition to our exclusive products like Connected and Turkish Souq”, the Chairman added.

Rebranding of Al Wakra branch also marks the first anniversary of Qatar Post new corporate identity revealed last year. A state-of-the-art facility, modernised and digitalised services are just few of many things that can be found in the reopened branch.

The opening ceremony was attended by a delegation of community leaders from Al Wakra, board members and Q-Post senior management and departmental heads.

The new corporate identity has been rolled to five postal branches so far including Al Wakra and more branches are scheduled to be reopened over the coming months. The company is going an extra mile to revamp its products, services and customer services and has recently received three ISO certifications in Quality from France’s accreditation body Bereau Veritas.

Qatar Post has always seen strong demand for its e-commerce services from customers. “We have witnessed a high increase in the e-commerce volume whether it is Connected or Turkish Souq,” said Al Naemi.

Qatar Post had launched e-commerce platform – Turkish Souq – in partnership with Turkish Post (PTT), in January this year. The online shopping platform (turkishsouq.qa) provides easy access to Turkish products ranging from clothing, shoes, accessories, home furnishing, furniture and as well as vehicle parts and everything in-between, all at a flat delivery rate of QR50 by Q-Post.

Qatar Post customers can access services in Al Wakra branch which is open on weekdays from 7am to 9pm and Saturdays (8am to 11am / 4pm to 7pm). The branch is closed on Fridays.
