Our students are scheduled to return on Tuesday, January 7. The Thomas County School System's financial system was recently targeted by criminals who sought to steal funds from a school system account. Due to potentially hazardous road conditions associated with frozen precipitation, the Thomas County School System was closed Wednesday, January 29, 2014. To help improve upon these problems, students created a turbine out of a soft and biodegradable latex that could be affixed to the top of homes. TheTCCHSandBishop HallPhysical Education Department is in the process of reviewing a textbook for possibleadoption for the 2023-2024 school year for the Health and Personal Fitness courses. More than 150 local students participated in the games which was conducted by the Thomasville YMCA and the Thomas County Olympics. Thomas County Middle School eighth grader Jaclyn Maxwell recently made the 2022 GMEA Middle School All-State Band on bass clarinet. Out-of-district students will be accepted upon approval by the Board of Education. Two sessions will be offered to provide more opportunities for parents to attend.
